Currently a freelance marketing and technology consultant, I started ‘VisualBanquet’ to document my living in Asia in pictures.  Well, most of the time in Asia any way!  All trips and reviews done so far have come out of my own pocket and I will inform readers if anything has been sponsored. After 25 years in the corporate world of marketing and technology, it’s time to take a little me-time to enjoy.

I love social media and the ability to develop original content so this blog helps me combine that love.  I think I’d have a tough time keeping my blog current if not for my current lifestyle.  I salute those who are able to combine both a day job with their ‘side line’ content publishing – no mean feat!

When starting this blog, I was using a Canon 5D MarkII and a Panasonic GF1 to take the pictures for the posts.  While I’m still using the GF1, I’ve changed the 5DII to a 5DIII.  Occasionally, I’ll also use a Yashica Mat TLR to take some good ol’ film pics 🙂  Feel free to tell me what you think about the stories and/or the pics.  Would love to hear from you!

  1. hey,
I want to ask you wether it is possible to use your beautiful photo (doper-soaker-team-in-action-songkran-2012-chiang-mai.jpg) in a campaign for a NGO. It will be a campaign about peace.
Is it generally possible, what would be the conditions and what further information do you need?

  2. Hi,

Love the pics on your site.

I am currently designing a brochure for a small firm i am part of. I felt the skyline pic would be apt. Would it be ok with you if we were to use it? We can acknowledge that its from your blog.

  3. Hi Angela, one of my client express an interest in one of your photos and would like to use it for his website. Can he use it and credit the photo to your name and site?
